Job Details
As an experienced Packaging Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products according to CRA standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery, including but not limited to fillers, sealers, labelers, and conveyor systems
- Set up machines according to product specifications, ensuring proper settings for weight, size, and packaging materials
- Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth functioning, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery, troubleshooting issues and performing minor repairs as necessary
- Load packaging materials onto machines, such as film, boxes, or labels, and replenish supplies as needed
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including removing waste and cleaning equipment regularly
- Record production data and maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, downtime, and product specifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with packaging machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications and machine manuals
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if necessary
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine monitoring
- Adherence to safety regulations and procedures at all times
$16-$19/hour
