Job Details
Job Function. Supports production activities by receiving, locating, storing, and transporting materials RESPONSIBILITIES Supplies production lines with materials as required; returns unused materials to appropriate locations. Palletizes and stages finished product in designated areas. Maintains organization of production set up areas, including disposal of trash and unusable materials Inspects equipment daily to ensure safe and efficient operation (i.e. forklift trucks)Collaborates with warehouse team to ensure proper placement of materials and finished product. Monitors production scrap levels; identifies and assembles scrap storage units. Maintains organization of materials throughout facility. Loads and unloads shipments as needed. Informs appropriate parties of maintenance needs to minimize downtime. Utilize computer systems to perform inventory transactions (i.e., scanning labels)Maintains safe and clean work environment Observes all Plant procedures, rules, and guidelines.
