Nesco Resource is looking for a Machine Set-up and Operator located in Danbury, CT. This is a direct hire opportunity for the right person.
Position Overview: The Machine Set-up and Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. This position will act as a hybrid mix of Machine Set-up and Machine Operating. You will be the assistant next to the Supervisor.
Pay: based on experience
Shift: 7:30AM-4:30PM (With the availability of Overtime)
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepare and set up machines for production runs.
- Operate machines and monitor performance.
- Adjust settings as necessary for optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Inspect products for defects.
- Conduct regular quality checks and maintain records.
- Follow all safety protocols and use PPE.
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Experience as a Machine Operator.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
- Stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
