Customer Account Specialist


Job Details

The Customer Account Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, onboarding new accounts, managing customer information, converting purchase orders to invoices, coordinating with the fulfillment team regarding shipping details, assuring that customer contract details are adhered to, and managing any other aspects of the customer relationship. You will be encouraged to reach out independently to customers to assure they are satisfied with our service and offer assistance where needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming customer calls and inquiries
  • Placing wholesale orders and creating invoices
  • Introducing new products to wholesale accounts
  • Providing necessary information for shipment/fulfillment
  • Upselling, cross-selling, offering samples
  • Performing data entry and data management to track relationship history and provide context for others on the team
  • Attending regularly scheduled team meetings
  • Participating in marketing events such as conferences, sometimes on weekends
  • Coordinates with fulfillment and Quality Control Department to facilitate Domestic and International orders


Requirements:

  • Previous customer service or inside/outside sales experience or experience as an account representative, manufacturers representative, or wholesale representative.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing, by phone, and in person
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers
