Your Role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to be responsible for auditing processes and products on the production floor and will report to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
This is a 3rd shift opportunity: 10:00pm-6:30am
What you will do:
- You will perform quality inspections on the production floor to ensure product conformity, procedures and instructions are being followed.
- You will initiate containment and certification activity when non-conformances are identified.
- Update product inventory status in system and records non-conforming product in quality management system
- Approve and release product in system and updates inventory status accordingly.
- Analyze and report inspection results to the production and quality teams.
- Escalate inspections results and non-conformances.
- You will train and support personnel in quality related training.
- Support customer concern investigations and manufacturing quality issues
- Participate in internal quality programs.
- Support product inspection and scheduled product audits as required.
- Perform other related responsibilities
To succeed, you will need - Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure quality
- Experience using micrometers, calipers and gauges preferred.
- Experience using Syspro or similar business systems preferred.
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain professional behavior in all situations.
- Prioritize assignments.
- Organized, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to achieve targets.
- Working knowledge of quality systems preferred.
