Job Responsibilities of ERP Business Analyst:
- Analyze and assess business systems and user requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Formulate and develop systems to meet business needs and regulatory standards, including SOX compliance.
- Draft functional requirements and design specifications for system enhancements and changes.
- Create and execute test plans and procedures for system modifications and small-scale projects.
- Lead complex systems projects and collaborate with project groups to ensure successful implementation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Facilitate discussions and generate solutions for system implementations.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end users and staff.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned, such as acquiring specialized technical skills and contributing to application programming efforts.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for external application and technology vendors.
- Utilize MS-SQL to query data and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards.
Qualification Requirements for ERP Business Analyst:
- Proficiency in data mapping from legacy to new ERP applications, utilizing data conversion tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Two to four years of experience as an ERP "super-user" or "power-user," or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Participation in at least one Epicor implementation or multiple implementations of other ERP systems.
- Familiarity with MS-SQL and understanding of relational database concepts.
- Preferred experience in technical report writing.
