About the Position:

General Manager of the Hampton Inn of New Bern, North Carolina

The ideal candidate will have the capability to maintain the highest level of customer service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. This individual will provide day-to-day leadership and direction, maximize financial returns, drive development of people, create and maintain a unique guest experience, develop, and implement effective sales & marketing strategies, execute brand standards, build strong relationships in the local community, and increase awareness of the hotel in the High Country.

Job Requirements:

-All candidates must have a minimum of five years' experience in hotel operations

-A self-starter with proven supervisory experience in the hotel industry

-Flexibility to work a variety of schedules and hours as business dictates

-Energetic with excellent customer service skills

-Ability to develop team member to their fullest potential

-Ability to multi-task and problem solve with a positive attitude

-Courtyard and Marriott hotel experience is a plus

-Be able to analyze financials to drive revenues, future profitability and maximize market share
