Job Summary/Basic Function
The general purpose of the job is to process admission applications in order to facilitate the admissions process, to coordinate all aspects of the transcript evaluation process between the Office of the Registrar and the Office of Admissions, complete quality assurance checks to ensure integrity of data collected.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge and skills in the operation of computers and other standard office equipment
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and a variety of software programs including database management and scheduling software.
Effective oral and written skills.
Experience working in organizational structures like higher education.
Equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered as meeting the minimum qualifications, at the direction of the hiring supervisor.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duties
Coordinates all Freshman/Readmit processing: Processes admissions applications by collecting and reviewing applications, transcripts, test scores and other support documentation. Is responsible for accurate data entry of information in Banner SIS for all freshmen and readmits prospective students, applicants, and deposited students in Banner SIS. Updates and maintains freshmen and readmit letters in Hobson. Assist with NCTC special applications when needed.
Training: Works in conjunction with the Director of Admissions, Associate Director of Admissions, and Office Manager to design, implement, observe, and evaluate developed cross-training modules to ensure office effectiveness.
Communication: Answer phone calls when needed. Greet prospective students and families. Assist with coordinator a prospective student tour or visit.
Perform other duties as assigned. Request work orders when needed in the Admission Office. Assist with bulk mailings and daily mail received in office. Assist with the coordination of Open Houses and Special Events.
Quality Assurance: Perform quality review on 10 percent of production to ensure institution, office and position goals. Works in conjunction with Director of Admissions and Office Manger to review accuracy of Banner fields and coding. Achieve weekly goals with counselors.
XAP Online Application: Is responsible for downloading and distributing of online application daily. Provides updates to XAP account manager for changes. Responsible and coordinates all daily deposits with the Business Office. Bookkeeping for daily/monthly deposits with the business office.
