DSJ Global is partnered with a leading Food and Beverage manufacturing company in North Carolina! The team is seeking a Production Manager to join and lead a team at the facility.
The Production Manager oversees manufacturing operations to drive continuous improvement, ensure profitability, and support strategic plant development. They are also responsible for maintaining Food Safety and Food Quality programs!
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRODUCTION MANAGER INCLUDE:
- Manage daily operations, production schedules, and employee safety while enforcing company policies.
- Coach and develop direct reports and supervisors to foster a positive culture.
- Improve line efficiencies by collaborating with managers and supervisors on downtime reduction strategies and accountability.
- Enhance supply efficiency through maintenance and production analysis, setting and achieving performance goals.
- Develop hourly and salaried employees in production and maintenance, aligning with supply chain objectives.
- Analyze financial results and lead projects to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives and drive operational improvements across departments.
- Manage Production Supervisors, overseeing productivity, training, and performance management.
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PRODUCTION MANAGER INCLUDE:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Business Management and 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Food and Beverage Manufacturing Industry Experience
