The City of Lee's Summit is seeking qualified applicants to fill the position of Meter Technician in the Water Utilities Department. The Meter Technician reads water meters on assigned route and records data into hand-held computer to provide information for utility billing or other related action. Inspects, maintains, and replaces water meters, meter wells and associated equipment. Responds to customer service requests and handles complaints.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Diver's License
- Exceptional customer service
- One year of experience with meter reading or equivalent related experience
