Electrical Assembler(Soldering)


Job Details

Job Description:

  • Once properly trained and/or certified, perform specific tasks including but not limited to, soldering, hardware installation, post coating.
  • Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently uses computer tools such as SAP and accurately follows work instructions.
  • The ability to interpret schematics and/or technical drawings.
  • Utilize limited variety of microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment.
  • Wire Soldering per IPC J-STD-001 Certified
  • Intermediate computer skills in terms of typing, navigating screens and learning new software programs.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Responsible for replacement of defective parts, wires, and components, correction of wiring errors, repair of poor mechanical connections, solder joints, reworks mechanical assemblies, reworks post coating or any assembly.
  • Responsible for rework of solder, weld of all modular electronic units, and solving write-up problems.
  • Operates electrical checking devices such as ohmmeter, voltmeter, and transistor continuity checker.
  • Bags and seals equipment.
  • Work consists of mounting of components, wiring, soldering, cabling, fitting, and adjusting, disassembly and rework of units.


Requirements:

  • Must be IPC J-STD-001 Certified
