Job Summary
* Sets up foods such as beverages, butters bread for residents according to diets and preferences.
* Delivers appropriate meal trays to resident dining room tables.
* Sets up and clears the dining room tables.
* Assists cook with resident meal service.
* Scrapes dishes, pots and tableware prior to washing.
* Loads and operates dishwasher.
* Empties dishwashing machine, stacks and stores dishes, pots, pans, utensils and silverware according to procedure.
* Cleans resident dining room after meals.
* Participates in daily cleaning activities such as mopping floors, cleaning shelves/counters/sinks, and sanitizing carts.
* Maintains a resident focused approach and responds to resident request as able in respectful manner.
* Promotes, adheres to and supports resident rights.
Education and/or Experience
* Graduation from high school preferred or in process of graduation, GED accepted.
* Previous experience in working with people and in demonstrating respect to others.
Work Schedule
* Day/Evening shifts as needed; PRN
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
* $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
