The technical assistant position will help students gain experience in building employment skills and establishing a professional network while continuing their education. Provides support to the daily operation of their assigned department. Responsibilities vary but will be focused on assisting facilities personnel in performing daily work assignments as well as ad hoc tasks as needed during the normal operation of a large healthcare organization.

* Current enrollment in an accredited high school

* Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.

* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

* Knowledge of telephone techniques and etiquette.

* Knowledge of basic office equipment.

* Knowledge of recordkeeping and filing techniques.
