The Truck Driver is responsible for operating company vehicles, transporting and delivering materials to and from various designated locations. Responsibilities Operates vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, to transport materials in all types of weather. Loads and unloads vehicles using hand truck, dolly, etc. Completes driver daily logs, sections of vehicle log sheet and/or trip ticket form. Prepares shipping documents as necessary or required. Inspects vehicle, reports condition, and arranges for repair and maintenance, safety inspections, and vehicle license as required and approved and complete monthly reports as required. Cleans interior and exterior of vehicle including waxing. Checks and adds oil, gas, water, air and other such items. May maintain equipment inventory records and assist in completing daily DME activity reports. May assist with quarterly Inventory Reports.
