The Mortgage Closing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Mortgage Closing department, accurately compiling and completing documents while maintaining immaculate record keeping. The Closing Assistant will schedule appointments for the mortgage team and respond to customer inquiries on transactions as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist Loan Closers with closing process by gathering required documents. Reviews approved mortgage loans to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing Verifies accuracy and consistency of specifications on documents Answer questions regarding closing requirements Assembles documents for delivery to title companies and/or closing offers for closing Gather and coordinate necessary loan documentation necessary for verification such as title company wire instructions and figures Qualifications Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
