Overview
We are currently looking for a
Senior
Vice President, Consumer
to join our energetic, passionate, and tight-knit New York office. Key responsibilities will include account leadership and oversight for Consumer (CPG) accounts, representing Access on a broader Integrated Agency Team, developing strategic and creative PR programs and closely monitoring their execution and results, and helping to navigate clients through various challenges (internally/externally). The candidate we want is an engaging team builder and leader, having superior verbal and written communications skills, strong presentation skills, encouraging a team approach to management, being self-motivated, and being dedicated to achieving client satisfaction and internal goals.

About the Job
Serve as senior contact for clients, with an in-depth knowledge of clients business, develop strategy for implementing successful client programs;
Demonstrate full range of business communications knowledge and utilize relationships to further clients business goals and sell in incremental opportunities;
Anticipate client needs, communicate strategic recommendations to achieve clients business goals;
Help drive strategic and creative planning process for accounts;
Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others;
Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback; encourage teams to take advantage of training and development opportunities;
Help account team(s) work effectively and in the best interests of client(s); maximize agencys network of resources to enhance client services;
Be proficient in writing and editing materials, including communications programs, client correspondences and reports;
Take a leadership role in business development and presentations; work with account teams to build incremental business;
Navigate integrated agency team (IAT) structure;
Manage account financials, including budget allocation and control, time sheets, client billing, supplier invoicing and purchase orders; ensure team billability and account profitability
Salary Range: $180,000-220,000/yr
*Salary offered will be within range and based on years of experience
Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field. Masters degree in a communications field desirable.
12+ years of agency and/or consumer public relations experience, as well as account responsibility for large, multi-discipline client relationships.
Experience with Integrated Agency Team(s) and representing an agency on an IAT is a plus.
Broad-based exposure to all skill areas, including creative and strategic planning, writing and presentations, media relations, and consultative selling.
