As a Process Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands.
The Injection Production Technician operates and maintains production equipment, making adjustments and minor repairs in a safe and efficient manner.

As a Production Technician You Will:
- Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers
- Troubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance
- Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions
- Join with your team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reduction
As a Injection Technician You Will:
- Perform all quality checks on product observing it for contamination, air bubbles, short shot, flash, gate defects, water lines, color specifications, clarity and notifies Team Leader when discovered.
- Operate, maintains, and troubleshoots injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment.
- Makes periodic checks of machine conditions, resin levels, air and water systems.
- Responsible for the completion of all required training and technical criteria within a defined time period.
You Have
- Ability to work the following schedule: 6:45 pm - 7:15 am on a cycle of 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, repeat. This equates to 2 weekends per month off with a 3-day weekend
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production
- Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
You ll Earn
- $17.90 & up, based on experience
- Night shift includes a shift differential of $.50 ($18.40)
