Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of cash receipts for Afinitas's North American operating entities.
  • Lead collection of aged receivables for assigned customers.
  • Maintain Sales Tax Exemption status across systems for customers.
  • Follow policies and processes for A/R and customer collections supporting long-term strategic plans.
  • Improve A/R and collections procedures and processes in collaboration with leadership.
  • Backup team members' collection of aged receivables and invoicing activities, as needed.
  • Maintain a people-centric culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Encourage the sharing of ideas and enable the team to work in the most efficient way possible.
  • Work closely with Finance team members to identify and implement standardization and automation opportunities in transaction processing and reporting.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude and deliver outstanding service for both internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Ability to work with in person and virtual team members.
  • Ability to identify problems and implement necessary actions to mitigate issues until corrective actions can be implemented
  • Strong analytical, technical, problem solving, customer-service, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and make decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of integrity, accuracy, and dependability and superior work ethic
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization in a professional manner
  • Effective change agent with focus on continuous quality improvement
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
