Production Lead - 2nd shift act
What will my responsibilities include?
Obtain daily department job assignments.
Observe daily schedule requirements and communicate them to operators.
Provide necessary assistance to employees in the department.
Set up machines and work centers as required to meet schedule demands.
Track efficiencies and productivity within the department and report daily.
Communicate opportunities for process improvement.
Maintain all equipment in the department.
Attend company courses and assist on project teams when asked.
Completion, update and sign off job specific set-up documentation.
Maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure quality process is being followed by all employees.
Sign-off and accountability for scrap generated by department.
Maintain accountability within the department.
Attend courses or seminars and assist on project teams when asked.
Support and maintain company Mission Vision and Values
All other tasks assigned and apparent.
What key skills and experience do I need?
Clear written and verbal communications skills.
Quality minded, strong attention to detail.
Attendance/Dependability, Punctuality.
Team Orientated Work Principles.
Ability to work standing and/or sitting.
Must be able to lift up to 40-50 pounds, numerous times during the day.
What qualifications should I have?
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferred candidates to have some supervisory experience.
Read and understand blueprints and work orders.
Experience using and training others with inspection equipment.
