The Parts Room Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving material and services ordered through the MRO system. WHAT YOULL LEARN: Documents the POs for receipt and files the PO in the pending or closed files. Records any shortages, labeling and ID parts, handling any discrepancies as needed. Works closely with the Re-Buyer and A/ P to resolve conflicts with receipts or invoices. Assists Re-buyer with faxing, filing, and calling suppliers to follow up on timely receipts. Works closely with Maintenance and Warehouse to package and ship items for repair. Works closely with the Maintenance personnel to ensure that the stockroom stays organized and clean. Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.
