Ghost Robotics is the industry leader in legged robotic systems that not only help our customers solve complex operational, national security, and technical challenges to save lives, reduce harm and improve outcomes.

This position will be reporting into the Global Service Manager and will be working closely with a fast-moving team delivering next generation legged robotic solutions to our customers worldwide. We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, knowledgeable, has a solid work ethic, can learn quickly, and execute under demanding timelines.

Key Duties

* Applies knowledge of electromechanical systems, computer software, hardware, networking and procedures to solve global customer problems.

* Identifies, investigates, and resolves customer problems with electromechanical systems, computer software and hardware on site or at customer location.

* Consults with the appropriate subject matter experts to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.

* Guides internal and external customers through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions.

* Ability to provide basic training to end-users.

* Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.

* Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.

* Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from customers with inquiries.

* Maintain accurate service records, documentation and reporting.

* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Work Experience

5 years minimum experience at an established machine shop, engineering or product firm delivering customer service, repair, overhaul, maintenance or related experience.

* Proven experience delivering high quality diagnostic, repair, installation and training services to a diverse customer base.

* Strong technical background with electromechanical systems (or similar), software, hardware and networking.

* Ability to interpret technical writing and instructional materials, bills of material (BOM), engineering drawings.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

* Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

* Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in time-sensitive environments.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Additional Relevant Experience:

* Direct experience in a machine shop environment.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Certifications from recognized, related programs accepted.

Location

Philadelphia, PA (no remote candidates considered at this time).

Travel

More than 50% Domestic and International Travel required.
