Supreme Rice is looking for a Floor Operator at our Parboil Plant in Mermentau, LA.
The Floor Operator is responsible for maintaining the process equipment assigned to them in a safe manner that minimizes the risk of product contamination. This position works in a dusty environment with exposure to extreme temperature; must be able-bodied.
This position works shifts - alternating days and nights every other week and 12 hour shifts.
Duties:
- Ensure machinery is operating efficiently
- Perform minor repairs on conveyors and elevators as needed; Keep area clean
- Work in a dusty environment while handling bulky and heavy materials while exposed to seasonal hot and cold temperatures.
Skills:- Experience working with industrial machinery preferred
- Mechanically inclined
