Carpet Tech is hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk.

Job Responsibilities: - Invoice Management: Handling incoming invoices for the company and affiliated entities.
- A/P Invoice Processing: Timely and accurate processing of A/P invoices, ensuring adherence of company policies.
- Invoice Verification: Verifying accuracy of vendor invoices, confirming correct G/L account codes, and obtaining proper approvals.
- Filing Systems: Accurately maintaining account and vendor filing systems.
- Payment Processing: Generating payments to vendors, verifying accuracy, and submitting for review.
- Issue Resolution: Responding to inquiries, checking transactions, and resolving discrepancies.
- Vendor Account Reconciliation: Verifying vendor accounts through monthly statements reconciliation.
- Reporting: Reviewing monthly AP aging reports.
- Year-End Preparation: Assisting in year-end 1099 preparation.
- Other Duties: Handling any other duties as required.
QualificationsQualifications:- Learning and Software: Willingness to learn new tasks and software systems.
- Skills: Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Trustworthiness: Exceptional trustworthiness and attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively across functional areas.
- Experience: 3-5 years of AP experience, QuickBooks proficiency, and understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Education: Associate degree in accounting or equivalent preferred.
