Many sourcing events are project based and require new business processes in order to effectively implement and sustain. This role will manage a variety of projects as well as lead and perform activities involving business process development and documentation to support sourcing activities. Perform Market research to analyze market conditions, suppliers, and other pertinent information to ensure an efficient sourcing process and best value for TEC Equipment. Identify, develop and implement cost saving or profit improvement ideas. Evaluate existing suppliers and facilitate the development of new suppliers based on key criteria defined as part of the project scope. These criteria may include, but are not limited to, cost, quality, availability, technology, on-going support, and strategic alignment. Negotiate price, terms and conditions, delivery, quality and service levels with suppliers as needed. Understand the structure, language and key terms in TEC's vendor contracts.
