General Purpose and Scope of Position: Wilbur-Ellis Agribusiness division seeks a career-minded Class A Commercial Driver s License (CDL) Truck Driver to be part of a close, efficient team that delivers goods and services to a diverse agricultural customer base. We are looking for someone who can drive a forklift. This job is based locally and will have you home daily. Key Skills and Abilities Include: Follow all Federal, State, and Wilbur-Ellis regulations and complianceAttend product training sessions and meetings when necessaryLoad and unload as neededPromote a positive work environment and overall employee moraleKnowledge and/or experience with agricultural operationsAbility to work independently with minimum supervisionProficient in all Microsoft office applications and in particular ExcelAbility to multi-task, take direction and work independentlyUnderstands and maintains confidentialityWilling and desire to work overtime hours during busy seasonsAll other duties as assigned Key Personal Attributes Include:Ability to drive a forkliftAbility to repetitively bend and lift boxes and bags up to 50 lbs.Possess excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitudeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsRequires excellent interpersonal skills between both customers and fellow employeesDetail and accuracy orientation with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyGood interpersonal and team-building skills with a positive attitude and ability to establish relationships with branch personnel, peers, and customersPresent a professional image through personal appearance and overall facility cleanlinessRequired: High School Diploma or equivalent Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Assist with aspects of all day-to-day operations of the facilityAssist with seed treatments and seed warehouse operationsAssist with dispatching and logistics as needed or requested by managementUtilizing JD Edwards for order fulfillment, generating shipping papers, and invoicingAssisting with the inventory control processResponsible for the liquid fertilizer operationsAssist with dispatching and logistics utilizing NextraqLead EHSS training sessions and meetings when necessaryKeep the location current with DOT regulations (Comply, JJ Keller)Provide support to other team members as required to attain branch goals What You ll NeedValid Class A CDL or ability to obtain Class A CDLCurrent CDL medical card or ability to obtain oneHigh School Diploma recipient or equivalentWillingness to obtain Endorsements for Haz-Mat and Tank Vehicles Generous BenefitsIn compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for the experienced position ranges from $20.57 - $24.71 per hour for a CDL II and $22.74 - $28.42 for a CDL III per hour.
