Amotec is currently recruiting for Part Trimmers / Machine Operators in the Akron, Ohio, area. These roles are with our client, a leader in the Plastic & Porcelain Part industry.
This Role Offers:
- Shift(s) available: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
- Paydepending on shift
- $14.30 1st shift
- $14.65 2nd & shift starting rate
- The ability to earn anywhere from $2-$5 more an hour based on piece work output.

Job Description: Part Trimmers / Machine Operatorswill be conducting the following duties:
- Read operating instructions for each job assignment prior to starting each job
- Handle various types of plastic or porcelain parts
- Operate simple hydraulic or injection press machines per instructions
- Inspect parts for visible flaws or defects
- Utilize various hand tools to clean or descale parts before boxing into finished area
- Assemble and pack products per company and customer standards
- Maintain a clean work area
- Other duties assigned as needed
Other Requirements and Skills for Part Trimmers / Machine Operators: - Must have positive attitude and the ability to communicate with others
- The willingness to take instruction and to always be open to being trained on new jobs
- Attention to detail
- Strong attendance and mindfulness towards being punctual.
