Located in Pasco, WA, A-Jacks Auto Services&Towing is a locally owned and rapidly growing Towing, Recovery, and Transportation company in Pasco, WA. We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL tow truck operator to join our team.This postition is for a full time CDL tow truck operator and as such is expected to not only be a heavy operator but assist with fleet maintenance. The individual should enjoy teamwork and well as individual work. We are willing to help with relocation expenses for individuals out of town. As a tow truck operator, you will play a critical role in providing roadside assistance and towing services to our customers in need. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our tow trucks, ensuring the safety and timely arrival of our customers' vehicles to their desired destination. Compensation is a combination of hourly and commission and is competitive with industry standards, with the potential to exceed six figures annually. A-Jacks well maintained fleet includes, Class C&B wreckers, Tractor w/Zacklift wheel lift, multiple semi tractors, triple-axle Landoll hydraulic sliding axle trailer, roll back tow trucks, refrigerated trailers, and the regions only air-cushion recovery system. Requirements are as follows: Experienced Class A CDL with current WA state license&medical certificate Wreckmaster or equivalent training/certification(s) desired but not required Minimum of 25 Years of age for insurance purposes Ability to lift 75+ lbs on a routine basis Physically able to bend, crawl, or climb, in all weather conditions Strong understanding of vehicles and mechanical understanding Read, Write,&Speak English fluently Must be able and willing to operate a smart phone, computer, or tablet Respectful, motivated team player and leader Willing to take instruction, as well as changed instruction Positive can do attitude, willing to contribute to all aspects of the team as needed Available and willing to work a flexible on call schedule; Open shift availibility for day, night, or overnight (required) Ability to comute / relocate to Pasco, Wa before starting work Preferred 3 years heavy wrecker experience (not required, just preferred)
Responsibilities
- Respond to calls for roadside assistance and towing services in a timely and efficient manner
- Operate tow trucks and other equipment to safely and securely transport vehicles
- Maintain and inspect tow trucks and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide exceptional service
- Maintain accurate records of all towed vehicles and services provided
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles onto tow trucks
- Provide basic maintenance and repairs to tow trucks and other equipment
- Abide by all traffic laws and regulations while driving and operating tow trucks
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years
- Commercial Driver License (CDL)
Salary: $1,000.00-$3,000.00 per week
