PROJECT MANAGER - ARCHITECTURAL CLADDING
TAKTL is a Pittsburgh-based designer and manufacturer of custom facade panels and architectural elements utilizing a proprietary Architectural Ultra High-Performance Concrete (A|UHPC) formulation and automated production technology. We currently have an opening on our team for a Project Manager, who will work with other company departments to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate custom faade project execution. Position responsibilities include client interface (typically with installing contractors), project quoting, organization of project specifications and details for the drafting process, development and maintenance of project schedules, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in an architectural office or in project management in manufacturing, architecture or construction. Successful applicants will be systematic, organized and detail-oriented, while also being actively communicative, personable, and client service-oriented. Must enjoy hands-on involvement and working in a collaborative team environment. This position will be fully in-person at our offices adjacent to our manufacturing facility in Turtle Creek, PA. Travel not required. Only local candidates will be considered.
Job Responsibilities
- Review, quote, and execute upon incoming contract, scope, and specification requirements.
- Develop and communicate project schedules, plans and delivery requirements internally and externally.
- Conduct reviews and quality control checks on project documents, drawings, and production information.
- Implement critical path systems and procedures to reduce errors and improve timeliness and accuracy of project delivery.
- Understand technical details of systems and products sufficiently to shepherd projects through entire process.
- Interface with vendors in the service of executing project requirements.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with clients to resolve issues, provide updates, and answer questions.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 3+ years of experience in an architectural office or as a Project Manager in manufacturing, architecture, construction, or related industry
- Architectural detailing experience or education
- Highly organized
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Clear, proactive verbal and written communicator
- AutoCAD
- Rhino and/or Revit skills a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000-$95,000 per year, commensurate with skills and experience
