Electronic Assembly Technician


Job Details

Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for an Electronic Assembly Technician based at its Pittsburgh, PA office. This position will be responsible for assembling electronic components from drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix AZ, McKinney, TX in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assemble prototype and small run production of electronic components.
  • Repair or replacement of defective components.
  • Apply insulation and connect wiring.
  • Testing of electrical fixtures.
  • Process customer order shipments in IFS.
  • Cycle counting component and finished parts.


Qualifications include an associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Automation Technology, or equivalent experience.
