Summary:
As a Senior Imaging Systems Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and interpretation of ultrasound images. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will optimize medical imaging parameters and device characterization, design cutting-edge image processing tools in Python to improve image reconstruction and processing algorithms, automate image quality testing for ongoing improvements, and seamlessly integrate ultrasound systems with hardware for efficient data acquisition, processing, and display.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement software for ultrasound imaging systems using Python.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with ultrasound hardware components.
- Design and optimize algorithms for image processing and data analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or a computer science field
- 5+ years of industry experience in medical imaging product development
- Familiarity in ultrasound physics, signal and image processing, simulation, algorithm development, or tool development
- Proficiency in programming in Python or C++
- Passionate about medical devices, with excellent communication and teamwork skills
