Job Details
The Warehouse Operations Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day operations in a GMP Warehouse at the RTP CARsgen facility for clinical and commercial products. This position interacts cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Supply Chain and MSAT.
Responsibilities?
- Receive, label and document incoming materials to support all areas of the company
- Store and maintain inventory within designated temperature zones
- Picking, packing, and staging of product for internal and external customers
- Periodic cycle counts and inventory management functions
- Monitoring and maintenance of liquid nitrogen and carbon dioxide supply
- Serves as a hands-on resource in Supply Chain, being able to communicate to other departments
- Assist the warehouse manager and warehouse logistics associate in collecting and organizing acceptance and material receipt documents, warehouse inventory records, and material request forms
- Accurate documentation of activities in accordance with cGMPs
- Adherence to all QMS, cGMP, SOP and EHS policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications?
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of previous experience as a material handler, warehouse, distribution, etc., required
- 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred
- Required to work in ambient and cold room temperatures
- Physical requirements include bending, standing for extended periods of time, and frequent lifting of a maximum of 50 pounds
- May be required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Basic knowledge of cGMP requirements preferred
- Basic computer knowledge (email, MS Office)
- Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
