Description

The Precision Assembler does difficult assembling or adjusting involving complete assembly of a variety of non-standard items, or work of a standard nature involving intricate assembly or adjusting to close tolerances. Works from blueprints, drawings, specifications, diagrams, schematics, etc., with little direct supervision. This position will be working on stain finishes in the Millwork Solutions Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Cross-train to material planning for solid surfaces and miscellaneous panels for LCG Laminated Case Group.
  • Ability to use the computer system in order to track inventory, verify loads, check schedules, and other tasks as required.
  • Ability to inspect cabinets or product and check and validate specifications
  • Ability to assist in any cell needed including building special cabinets, running various tools such as saw pin router, shaper, v-tap, hand plunge router, hand planer, power planer, and power sander.
  • Ability to do quality checks on all parts
  • Physical ability to load all shapes and sizes of tops with assistance when needed (3 man lift when identified )

Requirements

1. Ability to read drawing

2. Ability to use hand and power tools

3. Ability to use machines (wrapper and clamp) are preferred

4. Understanding of quality imperfections

5. Good communication skills both verbal and written

6. Excellent hand-eye coordination

7. Willingness to cross train for different job tasks in the area

8. Provide assistance and cooperation with fellow associates
