Procurement Manager / Advanced Manufacturing / Los Angeles, CA
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the indirect procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing startup in the Advanced Manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- People management direct reports, such as Buyers.
- Prioritize projects to maximize cost reductions.
- Manage cross functional projects to meet objectives and goals.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers and identify potential new suppliers.
- Develop sourcing strategies.
- Create and raise purchase orders.
- Work closely with program management to support prototyping requirements.
Experience Required:
- 5+ years professional Supply Chain experience, ideally in a Manufacturing environment.
- Technical Procurement experience, with Mechanical and Electrical components.
- Facilities procurement, infrastructure, industrial manufacturing.
- Must have experience with ERP Systems.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and presentation.
- Good interpersonal skills and liaising with suppliers.
- Previous experience managing employees.
- Aerospace and/or Automotive experience highly advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline
