We are immediately hiring in Waukesha, WI for an experienced mechanicalassembler responsible for assembling structural steel and inspection ofcompleted parts. You ll be working the second shift, Monday through Fridayfrom 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Mechanical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Hand torch, preheating and welding operation
- Handling and Moving Objects Using forklifts, overhead cranes and manual pallet jack
- Read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly
- Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work
- Communicate with supervisors, peers, or subordinates
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Mechanical Assembler Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of working as a Heavy Mechanical Assembler
- Assembly tools knowledge required
- Measuring tools knowledge required
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations required.
- Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane, forklift or stand-up may be required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
- Required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
