The Compensation Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization's compensation programs align with business objectives and industry standards. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and managing compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring internal equity and compliance with relevant regulations.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage annual general salary survey process including reviewing, updating, and validating benchmark matching, incumbent data collection and summarization, completing policy and practice questionnaires, and responding to vendor follow up questions.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership to communicate key findings and recommendations.
  • Job Analysis and Evaluation: Conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate salary ranges and ensure internal equity across different roles and levels within the organization. Work closely with HRBPs to accurately assess job roles and responsibilities.
  • Compensation Planning and Budgeting: Assist to develop annual compensation budgets ensuring that compensation plans are fiscally responsible and aligned with business priorities.
  • Salary Structure Design: Design and maintain a competitive salary structure that reflects market trends, internal job valuations, and organizational goals. Regularly review and update salary ranges to remain competitive in the marketplace.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation. Ensure that compensation programs comply with legal requirements, including wage and hour laws, equal pay regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Assist with communications & training for management regarding policies, philosophies, or procedures.


EXPECTATIONS

  • Must adhere to all policies, procedures, terms and conditions set forth in the National Church Residences Employee Information Guide (EIG), the Code of Conduct, as well as any facility handbook, including but not limited to, corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state, local regulations and laws.


  • With respect to Resident Rights, ensures all care is provided with respect and dignity for the residents/clients, their families and the staff. Reports all complaints made by residents/clients and/or families to the appropriate supervisors, reports all allegations of abuse, misappropriation of funds/resident property and/or any other corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state and local regulations and laws.


  • Completes all annual education requirements timely, including but not limited to Compliance, Privacy, Security and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.


JOB SPECIFICATION SHEET Compensation Manager


Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience required. Master s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) preferred.


Experience: 5 years proven experience in compensation management or related field, with a strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and trends required. Healthcare industry experience preferred.


Mental: Must have excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English, as well as the ability to make self-understood.


Skills: Must have good working computer skills with basic professional computer software (Microsoft Office suite, HRIS, Market Pricing Software, data analysis tools, etc.) and the capacity for learning new software systems quickly. Must have strong skills in analytical & critical thinking, relationship management, business acumen, strong motivational skills and a high emotional intelligence quotient (EQ).


Work Location: In office minimum 3 days per week.


Travel: Less than 25%
