Reporting to the Cash Applications Supervisor, you as the Cash Applications Specialist applies all cash collected from our DSD credit customers to maintain an accurate, up-to-date aging of the Accounts Receivable on behalf of Red Bull Distribution Company.
Job Description
MANAGE THE PROCESS
Apply all cash receipts to outstanding customer accounts receivable daily and reconcile to bank account daily
Process NSF checks back to Accounts Receivable
Access all resources to find us remit-to information daily (websites, central email address)
Refine cash application process through Encompass upload functions
Process any external invoice billings by the National Chain
Help with bill backs or charges back to supplier
Reconcile deductions, short-pays, and disputes from customer payments
You will monitor and adjust unapplied payments daily
COLLABORATING
Assist Accounts Receivable Manager to determine when new EDI trading partners might improve cash application process
Assist Accounts Receivable Manager to work with National Chains to eliminate duplicate vendor numbers
Qualifications
2+ years of Account and/or Bookkeeping experience
Direct Store Delivery or Route Accounting experience required
Experience with Encompass Route Accounting system, including Daily Balancing, Data Base Management, and Accounts Receivable (or similar Route Accounting System) beneficial
Experienced with Daily Route Balancing
Experience reconciling/researching payment differences and resolving with Collections
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $47,000 to $52,500 + cash incentives Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
