POSITION SUMMARY:

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to manage and optimize our purchasing, sourcing, and lease negotiations for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Multi-Function Printers (MFP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, business, or related fields, along with exceptional negotiation and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Lease Management: Manage and review the lease query program for MHE, ensuring leases are renewed or renegotiated in a timely manner.

* Financial Negotiations: Negotiate MHE lease rates with financial institutions to optimize costs.

* Vendor Relations: Oversee the vendor bidding process and negotiate terms with vendors to secure the best rates and terms.

* Audit Participation: Participate in annual internal and external finance audits.

* Equipment Procurement: Purchase or lease MFPs for all CLI facilities.

* Documentation: Document and update the purchasing process flow and purchasing order requisition work instructions.

* Cross-Functional Interaction: Collaborate with plant managers, AQP/costing team, finance, sales, engineering, IT, and other departments.

* Process Improvement: Implement and manage strategic sourcing disciplines to improve purchasing efficiency.

* Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and objectives are met.

Requirements

* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field is preferred.

* Experience: 5 - 7 years of professional experience in purchasing, sourcing, and negotiation skills.

* Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Excel and knowledgeable in strategic sourcing disciplines. Visio is a plus.

* Soft Skills: Strong project management skills, initiative, drive, and a commitment to the highest levels of integrity, excellence, and attention to detail.

* Location: Position can be remote with a high preference for candidates in the Central or Eastern time zones.

* Travel: Travel is 10% or less.
