MIG Welder
Our customer is looking for Welders for full-time positions at their manufacturing plant in Carnegie, PA. The ideal applicants should have previous experience as a MIG welder in an industrial environment. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with industry safety standards and procedures to ensure project security.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion
Qualifications and Skills - Proven experience as a Welder or similar role for 2+ years
- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG
- Familiarity with tape measure
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with machining and the use of calipers is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
Benefits/Compensation - Full Time
- Pay Rate is $18-20 per hour; skill-based
- 1st Shift, M-F
- Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
