Payroll Administrator


Job Details

Sole payroll administrator within the HR team supporting a population of 400+ staff at a healthcare facility in Suffolk County, LI


Onsite Monday-Friday, 8am/9am - 4pm/5pm

Base $60-70k


Job Duties:

  • Records, verifies and reconciles time cards and other payroll data
  • Ensures that payroll information is accurately entered into ADP WorkforceNow
  • Reviews data entry calculations, benefits entitlement and shift differentials
  • Responds to departmental inquiries and issues related to payroll information.
  • Communicates payroll policies and procedures to department managers and other staff members as needed.
  • Cultivates and maintains an effective working relationship with departments.
  • Verifies calculation of automated timekeeping system for non-exempt employees.
  • Ensures all employee changes for assigned employee groups are accurate.
  • Manages new hires, transfers, terminations, pay or unpaid leaves of absence and related actions.
  • Regularly audit attendance and paid time off records.


Requirements:

  • 1+ years of payroll experience
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Strong organizational skills/Detail-oriented
