The Field Service Specialist is responsible for the service and troubleshooting of SMS Technical Services equipment.

What You'll Do
- Pre-Assembly of equipment at vendor site
- Installation of equipment at customer site
- Training of operators and maintenance personnel of customer
- Answering of questions of the customers on prior consultation with the Project Manager
- Cooperation with the Spare Parts Manager regarding customer needs for spare parts
- Preparing field service reports for OEM/Customer/FOEN. These reports will be used to invoice for services provided by FOEN and it s electrical supplier
- Assist/Inform electrical supplier during installation and commissioning of equipment
- Assist customer in installation of spare parts or upgrades of equipment
- Inform customer of a new FOEN technology if seen that customer could benefit from it
- Assist customer in re-building existing equipment
- Preparing field service report for FOEN s future reference
- Assist with loading and unloading of spare parts shipments
- Cooperation with the Spare Parts Manager regarding needs for spare parts inventory
- Giving feedback from customer to Sales department regarding the spare parts and/or design of equipment
- Maintenance of company vehicles not assigned to an employee
- Any miscellaneous task required for daily operation of company if available
- On occasion, make drawings from old CAD system for older parts revisions
What You'll Need
- Mechanical background required.
- 3-4 years relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
