Construction Project Scheduler II (On-site)


Job Details

Work at the most complex mass transportation system in the world and be a key contributor as Construction Project Schedule II.

  • Responsible for performing scheduling functions on complex capital projects throughout the project life cycle in support of major MTA C&D Business Units areas assigned.
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, utility, and timely implementation of all schedules.
  • Coordinate resolution of schedule issues, perform delay analyses, and participate in the review and negotiation of time extension requests and claims.
  • Support the identification and realization of opportunities to achieve schedule efficiencies.
  • Participate in the process of maximizing track access opportunities, as well as determining duration and schedule occurrence.
  • Participate in project constructability and risk assessment review efforts.

Qualifications Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited College in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration and/or combination of education, experience in Engineering & Construction: Signal/Systems/Communications, Civil/Structural, Architectural/Structural and Electrical/Mechanical with a strong background in scheduling in these disciplines.

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of five years construction scheduling experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software including experience developing schedule delay analysis and schedule claim analysis.
  • 5 years of demonstrated proficiency in the use of Oracle P6 Scheduling Software.

Normal Work Week:

Monday- Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Work Location:
2 Broadway New York NY, 10004 or various MTA field offices as needed.
