Assist Roofers and Foremen with preparing the job site for covering roofs of structures with materials such as metal, shingles, slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, and related materials. May operate hand and power tools of all types. Requirements. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The lists below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Minimum Qualifications. Education: High School/ G. E. D preferred but not required. Years of Experience: 6 months - 1 year of general construction experience. Certifications: None required. Driver License: Not required but it is a plus. Must be self-motivated, open-minded, and able to accept constructive criticism. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Knowledge of the basic safety techniques and procedures.
