We are looking for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant. They offer an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and more!


Responsibilities:


  • Case Management: Maintaining and organizing case files, including electronic and paper documents, to ensure that all necessary information is easily accessible. This includes tracking deadlines, court dates, and other critical timelines.
  • Document Preparation and Review: Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence. Ensuring that documents comply with legal standards and court rules.
  • Client Communication and Coordination: Acting as a liaison between the attorney and clients, scheduling meetings, and ensuring clear communication. Keeping clients informed about case developments and responding to their inquiries.
  • Court Filings and Appearances: Managing the filing of legal documents with courts, both electronically and in-person. Assisting attorneys in preparing for court appearances, including organizing exhibits and ensuring that all necessary materials are available.


Qualifications:


  • 3+ years of experience in a law firm setting
  • E-filing experience
