Summary of Position:

The Dishwasher will be responsible primarily for proper cleaning, sanitizing, & storage of restaurant equipment while maintaining a clean work environment by ensuring chemicals are well-stocked, supplies are organized, and trash is taken out in a timely manner, among other responsibilities. Additional duties may include weekly and monthly cleaning projects, receiving deliveries, and assisting other team members in miscellaneous tasks. This position requires the individual to demonstrate a commitment to excellence, the ability to prioritize tasks in a timely manner with limited supervision, and proactivity in finding ways to help other team members.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Ensure dishes are properly cleaned, sanitized, and stored in a timely manner.
  • Regularly check and take the trash out to the dumpster.
  • Check and restock cleaning supplies and chemicals.
  • Maintain a clean workstation.
  • Complete weekly and monthly cleaning projects.
  • Provide support to other back-of-house team members in daily cleaning and various other tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills / Talents:
  • Ability to lift boxes and objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Desire to demonstrate professionalism and hospitality while working in an open kitchen.
  • Be able to communicate with team members and managers effectively.
  • Work at a pace consistent with changing business volume and demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
