Part Time Administrative Assistant


Job Details

Morningside University is accepting applications for a part-time administrative assistant, for 10 months of the year (August through May), for the Nylen School of Nursing at Morningside University. This individual will be assisting with office management and clerical support for the department and assisting the Dean.

Responsibilities:
Prepares departmental reports
Assists with budget responsibilities,
Assists with answering phones, correspondence and organizing meetings
Manage student database and coordinate visits
Maintain internship and externship positions
Assists department on developing marketing strategies and coordinating department events

Qualifications:
Excellent administrative skills for general office duties
Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Professional written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and scheduling skills are required
Ability to make decisions requiring good judgment and initiative.
