We are currently looking for an experienced Data Manager.


Position Description:


Scope

Under this Task Order, the Contractor(s) shall provide services in support of the overall functions of the Office of Director (OD), Division of Intramural Research (DIR).

Minimum Education Bachelors

Specific Qualifications

BS degree or 5 years of work experience is equivalent to BS degree.

Minimum of five (5) years of work experience is required.

Effective and clear communication skills and the ability to work in a high stress environment.


Technical Requirements

Assist in developing and coordinating science policy and program planning and evaluation for the Institute, including research agenda development, science priority setting, strategic planning, scientific program assessment, policy research development and coordination, science policy briefings, and special planning efforts on specific research issues or initiatives.

Develop and coordinate science policy and program plans for a biomedical research organization.

Administer strategic planning activities for an organization.

Conduct portfolio analyses to identify research gaps and research effort.

Plan and evaluate scientific and clinical research programs and initiatives.

Develop and evaluate program objectives and accomplishments.

Assess scientific programs and policies for effectiveness in meeting objectives and strategic plans.

Coordinates the development of slides, charts, and other graphics to be used by the Federal Task Leader.

Serves as NIH search policy subject matter expert for assigned DIR laboratories and search committees.

Assists DIR laboratories with preparing national search approval documentation and forwards packages for all levels of approval.

Coordinate the scheduling of all search committee meetings and candidate interviews, including working with DIR and laboratory staff to identify meeting dates, secure conference rooms, and develop schedules for candidate visits.

Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and logging all search applications, communicate with applicants to ensure applications are complete, solicits reference letters on behalf of search committees, and send interview invitations and select/non-select communications to applicants.

Ensure potential conflicts of interest are identified and addressed in a timely manner.

Attend all meetings to record minutes, ensure adherence to NIH policy, and answer committee questions.

Other Requirements

This requirement is for a Full Time Equivalent employee, consisting of 1920 hours, (excluding Federal Holidays).

Work will be performed up to 40 hours per week during normal business hours, Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays.

However, work can run past business hours and flexibility will be needed, and the contractor will be responsible for scheduling.

Telework may be authorized if approved by the Task Leader, COR, and the Contracting Officer.
