Sales Representative (Full Time) - Houston, TX

*A&C Plastics is seeking a full-time Account Executive for our Business Development/Sales team in our fast-paced office.*

**HOURS** : Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm

**COMPENSATION** : Base + Commission + Monthly & Quarterly Bonuses

**(Average 1st year compensation package $60k-$70k +)**

**ABOUT THIS POSITION:**

* Accountable to achieve sales revenue, volume, and distribution objectives in assigned territory

* Develop new customers and unattended existing customers through aggressive out calling, cold calling, and follow-up

* Collaborate with office and warehouse team members to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed correctly

* Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and resolve customer issues promptly

* Continuously increase knowledge of company products, services, and procedures

* Identifies prospective customers and creates new opportunities, following leads from existing customers/vendors, participating in industry organizations, and attending trade shows and conferences

**SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS**:

* Passionate about the growth of A&C Plastics Inc.

* Desire to contribute to our company culture

* At least 2 years of sales experience with a track record of obtaining sales goals is preferred

* Ability to travel as appropriate (up to 25% of the time)

* Strong communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers Professional telephone and email etiquette

* Strong team orientation with customer-centric service focus and a sense of humor

* Previous industrial distribution experience in sales or customer service is preferred

* BA or BS Degree (Business, Sales, Marketing, etc.) or substantial equivalent business experience required
