Job Description:
We currently have a full-time position available in our billing office for a Payment Poster. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our billing processes, including:
- Answering Incoming Calls: Providing courteous and timely assistance to callers inquiring about billing and payments
- Posting Payments: Accurately recording and processing payments received from patients and insurance providers
- Filing Claims: Managing the submission of insurance claims, following specific guidelines to optimize reimbursements
- Billing Office Tasks: Assisting with administrative duties such as data entry, document filing, and report generation.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Billing Experience: Minimum one year of experience in medical billing
- Professionalism: Strong work ethic, integrity, and professionalism
- Positive Attitude: Proactive and positive approach to work, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer Service Focus: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Conceptual Understanding: Solid understanding of medical billing principles
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Billing Systems preferred.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, to be performed on-site at our office location.
