Job Details
We are seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team! The Warehouse Worker will process receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods. Shift hours are from 5 p.m.- 5 a.m. on Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fridays, with Saturdays as needed. This position is for our Norton, MA warehouse facility.
Position Responsibilities
- Off loads all inbound freight and maintains written documentation of the transactions.
- Verifies accuracy of inbound freight bills and signs for the materials.
- Posts data into the computer.
- Picks/stages/ships finished goods orders utilizing scanners.
- Completes shipment schedule.
- Rotates product date codes during pulling operations.
- Maintains inventory accuracy.
- Maintains safety and sanitation standards.
- Complies with Company and USDA regulations governing storage and shipment of product.
- Able to bend, carry and lift up to 60 pounds without difficulty.
- Able to withstand working in a cold environment.
- Able to work independently with little direction.
- Ability to read, write and take directions in English.
- Able to perform other duties as directed.
Position Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be fluent in written and oral English.
- Must be able to perform simple mathematical functions, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Must be forklift certified on sit-downs, stand up fork truck and scissor lift.
- Two plus years experience in shipping/receiving.
- Experienced in put-away / retrieval of pallets in racked warehouses.
- Experience in loading & unloading trucks.
- Familiar with warehouse documentation and processing requirements.
- Experience with annual inventories.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
