Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dependable and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role. If you are a team player with excellent organizational skills, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and compare against purchase orders or invoices
- Sort, label, and store items in the appropriate location within the warehouse
- Prepare items for shipping by packing them and ensuring accurate labeling
- Maintain inventory records and perform regular stock checks
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as necessary
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks and containers
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise - High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
